Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
Welcome to our website (‘Site’). We value the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same respect for our rights in return. According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), copyright owners or their representatives can send us a notice to remove infringing content. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA against claims of copyright infringement. To report a legitimate copyright infringement, you must provide us with the following details:
Notice of Infringement – Claim
- A signature from the copyright owner or their authorized representative;
- Identification of the copyrighted material that has been infringed;
- Information on the infringing material and its location to help us find it;
- Contact information of the complainant for communication purposes;
- A statement that the use of the material is unauthorized by the copyright owner;
- A statement that the information provided is accurate and the complainant is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Under Title 17 USC §512(f), there are penalties for providing false information in a copyright infringement notification, including costs and attorney fees.
Any takedown notices should be sent through our Contact page, preferably via email for quicker processing.
Note that we may disclose your identity and information to the alleged infringer upon receiving a copyright infringement claim. By submitting a claim, you agree to this disclosure.
Counter Notification – Restoration of Material
If your material has been removed due to a copyright claim, you can send us a counter notification to have it restored. The notification must include:
- Your signature;
- Description of the material taken down and its original location;
- A statement that the removal was a mistake;
- Your contact information and consent to the jurisdiction of courts for legal matters.
Submit your counter notice through our Contact page, with email being the preferred method of communication.
Repeat Infringer Policy
We have a strict policy against repeat copyright infringers as required by DMCA. We keep a record of DMCA notices and take action against repeat offenders by terminating their accounts.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify our DMCA policy as needed. We encourage you to revisit this page regularly to stay informed about any changes in our DMCA handling procedures.
